This painting of son Jack always makes me smile- knowing that he built his life on the rock before he died on a Colorado mountain peak. I smile knowing that we will see him again. Jack is now in the shelter of the most high awaiting the great reunion, He most certainly would want you to hear these words…..

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Surely, he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge: his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
Psalm 91 :1-7
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell – and great was it's fall.”
Mathew 7: 24-27
