Day 5 of the 24 Day Prophecy Study

God always has a witness, no matter what time period of human history we are in. The Tribulation period is no different. The Holy Spirit is still present. He is saving people and convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. The 144,000 Jewish evangelists will be ministering during the first half of the Tribulation period with tremendous results.
Characteristics of the 144.000:
1. they are Jewish in background
2. they are bondservants of God, not of Satan or Antichrist
3. they are sealed for service & will fulfill Matt. 24:14
4. they are redeemed from earth's corruption
5. they are virgins
6. they speak the truth
How do we know they are Jewish? The Bible specifically states it. The only way one could come up with a different conclusion is to spiritualize Rev. 7:1-8 and not take it literally.
Rev. 7:4 - And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty-four thousand sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel.
Rev. 7:3 - Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees until we have sealed the bond-servants of our God on their foreheads.
Matt. 24:14 - This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Rev. 14:3 - ...and no one could learn the song except the one hundred and forty-four thousand who had been purchased (redeemed) from the earth.
Rev. 14:4 - These are the ones who have not been defiled with women, for they have kept themselves chaste. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes...
Rev. 14:5 - And no lie was found in their mouth; they are blameless.
