You can never do what Christ has done

Did you know there are really only two kinds of faith? One is trusting what the Lord Jesus Christ has done to save sinners completely and forgive forever; the other is trusting what man must do. One faith puts you on the narrow way that leads to eternal life, the other on the broad road that leads to destruction (Matthew 7:13–15). One is demonstrated throughout the Bible, while the other is based on man’s traditions that oppose the word of God (Mark 7:7–13)

Christ Has Done What You Can Never Do

Most people do not know that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Those who have broken God‘s law are spiritually, dead, separated from God, and will suffer eternal punishment in hell (Isaiah 59:2, Revelation 20:14). Hell is eternal because God‘s justice requires full payment for sins committed against our infinitely holy God. There is nothing guilty condemned sinners can do to pay the eternal sin debt. Good works and religious rituals can never satisfy divine justice. But, what man could never do, the eternal son of God has done. The eternal sin debt was nailed to the cross (Col 2:13–14). God‘s perfect man and man’s perfect God died as a substitute to satisfy divine justice for all who trust him alone. Thus, man’s only hope is to exchange his worthless religion of works for an eternal relationship with God through Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:4–9).

Will Truth Change Your Faith?

“There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death “(Proverbs 14:12). People never know they are deceived until they are confronted with the truth. Jesus is the truth and everyone on the side of truth listens to him (John 14:6; 18:37). No one will try to get on the narrow way that leads to life until they know they are on the broad way that leads to destruction. No one will seek a substitute to die in their place until they know they are condemned to death. No one will seek a Savior until they know they are destined for the torment of hell (Matthew 25:41). No one will seek to be reconciled to God until they know they are separated from Him. No one will seek the gift of Christ's perfect righteousness until they know they are unrighteous before God (Romans 3:10). No one will appreciate what the Lord Jesus has done until they come to the end of themselves and realize how helpless they are to do anything about it.

You Need to Know What Christ Has Done

He is the only one that can save sinners (Acts 4: 12).

He gave his life as a ransom for many (Mathew 20:28).

He bore believers’s sin in his body on a tree (1 Peter 2:24).

He shared his blood to purify his people from all sin (1 John 1:7).

He satisfied divine justice as a sacrifice for sin ( 1 John 2:2).

He died once for all sins to bring believers to God ! 1 Peter 3:18).

He offered one sacrifice for all sins for all time (Hebrews 10:12).

He canceled the eternal sin debt of believers (Colossians 2:13–14).

He saved his people from God’s wrath ( 1 Thessalonians 5:9).

He redeemed believers from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13).

He made believers’s perfect forever (Hebrews 10:14).

He reconciled believers to God ( 2 Corinthians 5:18–20).

He delivered his people from the dominion of Satan (Acts 26:18).

He rescued believers from the domain of darkness and transferred them into his kingdom Colossians one:13.

Your Response To What Crist Has Done

After the Lord Jesus has done everything necessary to save sin and sinners, he cried out in victory, “it is finished “(John 19:30). Only those who trust what the Lord Jesus has done, can receive his gracious gift of salvation. God will never save people based on righteous deeds they do (Titus 3:5). “For by grace, you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; Not as a result of Works, so that no one may boast “(Ephesians 2:8–9). Knowing this, will you repent of your dead Works, which are an insult to the perfect, finished and sufficient work of Christ? Will you come to the Lord Jesus with empty hands of faith, bringing nothing but your sins?

What You Can Do After God Saves You

Once you have been reconciled to God by trusting what Christ has done, you are God‘s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do the good work he has prepared for you (Ephesians 2:10). What you do for God as a born again Christian will be motivated by your love and thanksgiving for all Christ has done. “Whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him (Colossians 3:17).
