To Those Who Suffer the Same Way I Do

By Maddy Baisch

I lost my Brother, Jack, about three years ago. I don't know why we were not able to find him, he was so close but just out of our grasp. We had lost him before in all different parts of the world but had always found him. This time was different and after about week two into the search I began to realize just that but never wanted to admit it. It was Jack's time to return home- the home each of our souls yearn for everyday even if we are not aware of it... Heaven. Here is what I do know. I know there is a plan. I know everything happens for a reason. It is God's plan. And it is good. I know where Jack is and I know I will see him again. If we let God do his work, even the worst situations can and will be turned to gold. The hard part is trusting God enough to allow him into our lives and let the work not only begin but also to continue... It may seem like nothing is happening or no progress has been made. But this I know....He is always at work....and he always brings wonderful things from "awful" situations. Let him in. Lean on him. Trust in him. He will show you the way.
